Positively impacting health and hunger since 2015
Pesticide Free Produce
Our commitment to well-being transcends mere nutrition. We cultivate our fruits and vegetables without the use of chemical pesticides, fostering the health of plants, pollinators, soil, air, and the very planet we inhabit. This holistic approach underscores our unwavering dedication to promoting the overall well-being of both consumers and the environment.
Black History & Food
The food we cultivate and distribute not only mirrors our rich heritage, culture, and role within the community but also showcases our deliberate choice of nutrient-rich and robust crops that hold deep roots in African American culinary traditions, including greens, okra, and purple hull peas. This selection embodies our commitment to preserving our culinary legacy and promoting a healthier, culturally significant diet.
Rooted in Community Empowerment
Located in the fertile San Joaquin Valley, BUFA is inside the small town of French Camp, CA. We are constantly learning, cultivating, and expanding to better serve our community.
Keeping it Local
We are an alliance of farmers who have united behind the cause of wanting a healthier, affordable way to access fresh produce. Based in the heart of California’s Central Valley, BUFA aims to combat the barriers that separate urban communities from access to fresh, real, and whole food.
