Similar to the last blog with tomatoes, (name-a-fruit-vegetable-that-is-red-sometimes-green-and-is-juicy-and-plump.html) eggplants are known as vegetables but are considered fruit because they have seeds. This big purple fruit is not only eye catching but it is tasty also. They can be eaten raw, grilled, sauteed, roasted, and so much more.

What's green on the outside and yellow in the middle?
Believe it or not, it's a watermelon! There are over 1,200 varieties of watermelons around the world, but the popular red watermelon found in the US actually originated from Africa and had yellow flesh. This delicious melon has a sweeter, honey like flavor and actually contains more nutrients than its red-fleshed counterpart. Watermelon seeds are packed with antioxidants which can prevent or slow cell damage in our body. Men may also be interested to know that studies have been conducted on how eating watermelon can help their ED (the results are astounding).
